Society of Eritrean Jebertis in Canada (SEJC) was established in 2021 to bring together Eritrean Jebertis residing in Canada to foster cooperation and understanding among its members and create a vibrant community. This constitution and Bylaws outline the policies and operational procedures for the society of Eritrean Jebertis in Canada. As constitutions and bylaws are evolutionary in nature, proposed amendments are only added after the approval of the general assembly after a thorough discussion. The organization’s Secretary will be responsible for keeping the Constitution and Bylaws up to date. Without these efforts, the document will become outdated and lose its usefulness. This individual should endeavor to provide the date of the change and, where appropriate, necessary background information regarding the change. Finally, the Constitution and Bylaws are written for the general membership and the general public. The board, upon request, allows members to read or obtain copies of the Constitution and Bylaws.
