Funeral Insurance Coverage
The loss of a loved one is an incredibly profound challenge. In response to this need, the Society of Eritrean Jebertis in Canada, in partnership with Muslim CARE, is committed to alleviating the financial burden associated with funeral expenses during these trying times.
Guided by Islamic principles of compassion and unity, our mission is to support our members in their moments of grief. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, we aim to facilitate the bereavement process for our brothers and sisters in Ontario.
Become a Member:
A one-time registration fee of $150 CAD is required, with certain exceptions.
90-Day Waiting Period:
* Upon approval, there is a 90-day waiting period before your membership becomes active.
Community Support & Collective Contribution:
In the event of a member’s passing, all active members will be notified, and each member contributes a nominal amount of $15 CAD via direct debit.
Financial Assistance:* Muslim CARE provides a fixed sum of $6,000 CAD to the family of the deceased member to assist with funeral expenses.
Islam emphasizes the significance of solidarity and mutual support among believers, as articulated in the Qur’an.
